Athlete Journey reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace this Agreement at any time. By continuing to access or use our website after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

Message Monitoring and Safeguarding

All messages sent between mentors and mentees via the Athlete Journey platform are subject to review by our safeguarding team. By registering and using the platform, you acknowledge and consent to this monitoring. Message monitoring is carried out solely for the purpose of safeguarding participants — in particular young people under the age of 18 — and is not used for any commercial purpose.

Our safeguarding team may review messages where there is reasonable cause for concern. Where a concern is identified, we reserve the right to escalate the matter to a parent or guardian (where the mentee is a minor), or to relevant authorities, in line with our safeguarding obligations under UK law and UK Sport requirements.

Users are reminded of this monitoring at the point of account creation and in these Terms & Conditions. If you do not consent to message monitoring, you should not use the platform's messaging feature.
